Thrilling Western magazine ran for a total of 174 issues between February 1934 - Fall 1953.
The start of this run (the first 3 issues) was published bi-monthly until June 1934. Beginning with
the June 1934 issue it was published monthly through March 1940. Starting with the May 1940 issue the magazine was published
bi-monthly until January 1946 when it once again became a monthly (with a few holes) publication until January 1950, when
it once again became a bi-monthly publication until the final issue. The April 1936 issue states in error that it is
a Volume 9 #3 issue, when in fact it should state Volume 9 #1. There is also an error with the January 1940 issue, the copyright
page states it is a Volume 34 #1 issue, when it should state Volume 24 #1. There is also an error between the July and
August 1948 issues that was never corrected. The July 1948 issue is a Volume 46 #1 and the August 1948 issue is a Volume 56
#2. Published by Better Publications, Inc. until November 1943 then published by Standard Publications,
Inc. (Thrilling Publication) A British edition ran for an unknown number of issues in
the 1940's - 1950's.
